Speaking Engagements

I am available for personal appearances. During the course of a wacky, laff-filled ninety minute (give or take) multimedia presentation, I discuss politics, social trends, my experiences covering the 2000 Republican and Democratic conventions, my ill-fated collaboration with Saturday Night Live, and all kinds of other zany stuff, all while showing cartoon work, rare animations, video clips, and photographs, all followed up with a freewheeling question and answer session. Much fun is had.

Please note that, as much as I would enjoy flying to each of your towns and spending quality time with every one of you personally, I only have time to do a few of these each semester. Also please note that these speaking engagements are one way in which I attempt to pay my rent and support my family--which is to say, this is not some sort of wonderful hobby, it's part of what I do for a living. For specific information about fees and availability, please email me directly. (Serious inquiries only, please. If you have no connection to a sponsoring group or organization, while I appreciate your interest, I'm simply not going to have time to coach you through the process.)

I've given my presentations on campuses across the country. Click here to see some feedback from sponsoring groups.
